I have been dieting since around the 2nd of January and lost 8 and half pounds, on a stale mate/plateau atm, started a new fitness dvd 2 weeks ago exercise 1 which was 20 mins now on monday I started the 2nd exercise which is 30min, will do that for a while but my clothes are fitting better and have lost inches but no pounds since starting the dvd,
It is frustrating but I know I am going in the right direction, just need to keep my will power at an all time high,
I have spent every past diet worrying about the scales, but I read today that muscle weighs more than fat and takes up less space so thats why I am seeing inch loss and not pound loss, it could take up to 4 weeks for my body to start showing the weight coming off on the scales.
On bad days and when I am tired I need to remember that I am doing well and to hang in there and remember the following things -
- Good things come to those who wait.
- You have to be in it to win it.
- No pain no gain.
- Mind over Matter.
- You have to finish what you have started.
- A pound on the lips is a pound on the hips.
- be positive.
